Light Up Bedford Parade
The Light Up Bedford Parade born out of a desire to bring the community together during the holiday season. www.lightupbedfordparade.com
The Light Up Bedford Parade has travelled through Bedford since 1998. This traditional community parade kicks off the Holiday Season, every November, and brings joy to children and adults alike! The major purpose off the LUBP is to bring the community together to collect toys for the Q104 Toy Drive and food or money for Feed Nova Scotia. The parade is run by a committee of local volunteers who are dedicated to spreading festive cheer in the community.
The LUBP is looking for volunteers to help the night of the parade (Sunday, November 17). Volunteer responsibilities include traffic marshalling at the beginning and end of the parade route as well as people to walk along side the floats ensuring safety.
**Volunteers must be 18+**
If interested please visit www.lightupbedfordparade.com
and complete a volunteer form. A member of the committee will reach out if your assistance is required.

Public service announcement: It has been brought to our attention that small light up toys were handed out to children at the parade by one of the floats and may not be safe for young children as the small batteries may be swallowed. Please ensure these are not played with or accessible to young children.

THANK YOU!!!!
