RIDE-WITH-FIRE 2024 : Cycling Event in Brant County Ride-with-Fire is a cycling event in Brant County. This year, we're donating proceeds to Boots on the Ground, a Canadian charity.

Applications for Camp Phoenix are open!

Camp Phoenix is a free, immersive day camp for young women ages 14-18 years old who are interested in learning more about a career in firefighting. Our mission is simple; to discover, educate and empower the next generation of future female fire professionals.

Camp Phoenix simulates real-life scenarios in all areas of fire prevention and suppression including:

- Search and rescue
- Forcible entry
- Auto extrication
- Basic first aid and more.

Campers will receive empowering interactions from people in all areas of the fire service, not just firefighting, through learning lunches which will welcome a new guest speaker every day.

This year's camp will take place on Wednesday, July 24 to Sunday, July 28, 2024.

October 8 to 14, is Fire Prevention Week!

During Fire Prevention Week, children, adults, and teachers learn how to stay safe in case of a fire. Firefighters provide lifesaving public education in an effort to drastically decrease casualties caused by fires.

Visit your local Fire Fighters this weekend at the Burford Fair! The Burford Station will be at the fair throughout the weekend to say hello and teach our residents about fire safety.

Stop by, say hello and learn how you can prevent fires in your home!

This week Cainsville and Onondaga firefighters were able to take part in an electric vehicle training session lead by FF Jeles from Mt.Pleasant station. We learned a lot about the future of electric vehicles and the new dangers they may present on scene.
