๐ŸŒŸ This is Your Daily Reminder to Be Kind to Yourself ๐ŸŒŸ

From the perspective of a Registered Behaviour Technician, it's clear how much dedication and love caregivers put into their roles. However, it's equally important for caregivers to remember that self-kindness isn't just a luxuryโ€”it's a necessity. ๐Ÿ’–

Taking time to rest, recharge, and acknowledge the incredible work you do is vital. Your well-being matters, too.

So today, take a deep breath and show yourself the same compassion you so generously give to others. You deserve it. ๐ŸŒฑ

๐Ÿšจ In the Blink of an Eye, Life Can Change ๐Ÿšจ

Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI) can happen in an instantโ€”often when you least expect it. Did you know that over 50% of all TBIs are caused by car accidents? The impact from a collision, even at low speeds, can result in devastating brain injuries that may affect a person for the rest of their life.

If you or a loved one experiences a car accident, even if it seems minor, seek medical attention immediately. Early detection of a TBI can make all the difference in recovery.

Stay safe on the roads and always wear your seatbelt. Your lifeโ€”and your brainโ€”depend on it. ๐Ÿง

Smiles and Swings across the Course as Anchor Rehabilitation Support Services, Inc. participated in the Birdies for Brain Injury charity golf tournament in support of the Brain Injury Society of Toronto (BIST) this past Friday.
