We have sea urchin this week. All the way from Japan, we have fresh sea urchin from Nemuro, Hokkaido. Nemuro’s sea urchin is especially known for its freshness and rich flavor. Please take your time to savor this true gem of the sea. Limited quantities.

Kinpira Gobo
At the request of customers who had been to Japan, we decided to serve Kinpira Gobo (fried burdock root). Kinpira gobo is burdock root stir-fried with sake, mirin, and soy sauce. Gobo is one of the very traditional and popular vegetables in Japan. It is also eaten as a healthy food. 💪

Please enjoy the texture of burdock and its unique earthy aroma😅.

Look at a map and make your way around Downtown Dartmouth for a self-guided food crawl to the different stops! There is no set order and you can choose where & how many places you stop.

Printed maps will be available at many participating businesses and the virtual map is posted here and on our website.

Make a game plan and head downtown early as businesses have been known to sell-out!

BARA CHIRARUSHI SUSHI
Enjoy sushi like a jewel box.
Barachirashi is a traditional style of sushi with finely chopped ingredients decorated on top of sushi rice. Various ingredients such as seafood, vegetables, and tamagoyaki are colorfully scattered on top of sushi rice.

Doraku's annual Mother's Day special event is here. All-you-can-eat high quality and delicious sushi and Japanese food. The menu lineup will include most of Doraku's regular menu plus special items. Sashimi and Donburi (rice bowl menus) are unfortunately not included. Please choose your favorite time and make a reservation. This event is reservation only.
