I’m sick today and won’t be in clinic so I decided I’d throw a couple needles in 🪄

large intestine 20 is used to open the nasal passages and expels wind (wind is what Chinese medicine calls the common cold basically), it’s a great point for nasal congestion!

gallbladder 14 eliminates wind and benefits the eyes and head. this one is more so for that pressure feeling we can get in our heads sometimes when we’re sick!

I treated eczema in two separate patients last week for two different reasons! This is one of the many things I love about Chinese medicine 🤍

Although these two people came to me for the same reason (technically), they both received two wildly different treatments. This is because Chinese medicine looks at the root of the problem to solve what’s going on instead of offering temporary fixes and these patients “roots” were very different.

My first patient was dealing with an eczema flare up due to the windy and damp weather we were having and the type of work they do, while the others eczema was due to blood deficiency, a more chronic issue that takes longer to treat. 🩸
