I can't say enough about the importance of a big, healthy breakfast. They say eat like a king for breakfast, a queen for lunch and, well, fast till the next day! I'm more fond of a light, early supper! Our bodies love protein, which helps build muscle. As well as a healthy fat, which is a nice clean, long lasting energy source. I often get asked what i eat for breakfast. This is my go to that I eat at least 5 times a week. I add in other veggies sometimes like asparagus or tomatoes, etc
Most of the time people with digestive symptoms just believe that the gas, bloating and pain is normal. I was one of those people, and I'm here to tell you, it isn't. You can create a new, healthier normal that feels great, even if you've suffered for years.

Sacred geometry explores and explains the energy patterns that create and unify all things and reveals the precise way that the energy of creation organizes itself. It is said that every natural pattern of growth or movement comes back to one or more geometric shapes.

Hey folks! I'm re-igniting my passion for reflexology. Eastern style foot massage was something I would often add into Acupuncture treatments early on in my career. I am excited to get back at it once again!
I am offering a free Reflexology gift certificate to all new Acupuncture clients.
This special will run at all 3 of my locations until the end of April. Gift certificates can be redeemed as a stand alone session or as an addition to future Acupuncture sessions.
If you are an existing client, please "like and share" this post for entry into a number of draws for one hour Acupuncture session with myself, as well as a large jar (150g) of Trauma balm.
TCM foot reflexology stimulates points on the feet that correspond to a particular organ or condition. The feet are far too often neglected! Pressure in the correct areas feels great and can also relax and energize the whole body!

Happy International woman's Day! π
Being a woman is amazing, yet it comes with its own set of mental, emotional and physical challenges.
Acupuncture can help with a multitude of women's health issues.
Many women suffer with menstrual irregularities and menopausal symptoms. Others deal with Infertility, difficult bearing, birthing or lactation issues, as well as post-partum depression.
Parenting takes a toll, caring for loved ones while managing jobs and careers can be exhausting! Insomnia, anxiety, stress, headaches and fatigue can become the norm far too easily.
If you haven't used acupuncture to treat any of these conditions or if you have but they somehow have creeped back up on you, now may be the time to regain that balance.

I came across a random sheet of paper with this heading scribbled on it, with no mention as to where it was found. It is a daunting (in my eyes) list of things which would be considered the basics needed to give a body a fighting chance against virusβs. This shines a light on the dedication to our health we must stride for if we wish to keep or gain control over it. I suggest starting with one or as few as you think you feel able and go from there. We all have our vices, and are unique, but physiologically our bodies basically work the same. Dysfunction should not always correlate to disease or inability to function. In many instances the body can regain losses and improve in function. Find 13 changes you can make towards better health at the link below.

What exactly are we carrying around with us? Is it zen? Or is it weight from our past hurts and traumas? Is it kindness and forgiveness, especially for ourselves? Or, is it our mouthy inner critic? I love this quote for the mere simplicity of it. What we seek must always be found within us, before it will ever be found in our outer world.
Sometimes we have to push ourselves when we would really rather not! Here's to doing something today that your future self will thank you for!
