As the largest nighttime parade in BC, this beloved event promises to light up our community with festive cheer and fun for all ages. There will be jiu-jitsu, kickboxing, and boxing for anyone who wants to try out the sports as well as a friendly jiu-jitsu match for all to watch. You will also find food trucks, local vendors, a yoga session, and activities for all ages.

Has vandalism, theft, or property crime cost your business money? Do you want to protect your business for the future?
Apply now for a Securing Small Business Rebate for repairs or equipment you've paid for back to Jan. 2023 or equipment you want to install now to keep you safe.

Rebate applications are retroactive to January 1, 2023, through December 31, 2024, and will be reviewed on a first-come-first-served basis. The application portal will be open until January 31st, 2025.

Two types of grants:
👩‍🔧Reparative rebate: Provides immediate relief to offset eligible reparative costs for damage to eligible commercial property due to vandalism. One-time rebate of up to $2,000, per calendar year.
👨‍🔧Preventative rebate: Provides funding for eligible proactive/preventative measures to eligible commercial property. One-time rebate of up to $1,000, for either 2023 or 2024.

To be eligible for either rebate, a business must:
🌟Be located in an area of BC zoned for commercial, business, or light industry use; and
Have an exterior entrance (accessible directly from an outside area such as sidewalk, street or parking area), which serves as the primary access point for customers and clients; and
🌟Have a B.C. Registration or Incorporation Number; and
🌟Be in good standing with the Province of British Columbia; and
🌟Have less than 50 employees at the time of the incident or at the time preventative work is undertaken, and
🌟Not have received an alternative local rebate, grant or insurance claim (excluding the insurance deductibles) to cover the same expense.

Yesterday's event was an amazing time of getting to know the people of our community, and HUBco Brewing provided us with outstanding service, a warm and friendly atmosphere, and excellent food/drinks!! 🍺

All the way back in the early 1900s, the Mission Chamber was the board of trade that initiated the Strawberry Festival. It is a part of our history that we're proud of. 🍓
