March break and two kids home and that means really making sure I take a moment for self-care.

As moms we always find a reason why we can’t get in a workout but honestly if we really want to we can make it happen.

Instead of a carpet on my side of the bed I leave my yoga mat out and my workout clothes on the floor beside my mat as a reminder to just get it done. Doesn’t matter if it’s 5 or 20 minutes just get on the floor and move or stretch.

Right now my boys have their race track set up which gives me a good 20-30 minutes of movement in. My kitchen is a mess but in all honesty after my workout I’ll head in there turn up the music and it will be cleaned in no time.

Its incredibly how much easier the house todo list is when you’ve taken a moment to take care of you.

Self-care is so important and you are so worth it.
