Super Bowl Sunday today!

Please save your empties and bring them to the hall next Saturday February 17 for the bottle drive when you come to volunteer.

For larger amounts of cans if they can’t be brought to the hall, they can be arranged for pick up. Email [email protected] to be added to the list.

We are in the works with making community connections for regular bottle pick ups from workplaces and businesses such as bars and restaurants. If you have any ideas or have a workplace/lunchroom etc please reach out to the page or the email above.

We are so appreciative for the donation of these laptops and we have already put them to use. As a volunteer-led organization we need to be able to zig and zag with the availability and varied commitments of our volunteers.

Congratulations to Jason’s Computer Services on the launch of your “Tech Forward” initiative, and thank you for choosing to support our youth organization.

Congratulations to the Navy League of Nanaimo for becoming the 2nd recipients for January 2024 for the Tech Forward computer donation program. I hope these Dell Laptops greatly help your organization for simplyfying online tasks and education 😊

The Tech-Forward program aims to keep good used computers out of landfills and recycling depots if they can be repaired and repurposed. ♻️
Pay-It-Forward. If you have a used PC or Mac to donate that is in need of repair or is not being used, drop it into me! I will securely wipe your data from it free of charge and revive it for my next donation recipient! ⏩

Please like and share this post so we can generate more interest in this program and get more potentially interested recipients, that would be greatly appreciated. 👍

If you are looking to apply or to nominate someone in need of a computer please send them the following link to fill out the recipient form:
https://www.techforward.ca/apply

Tech Forward is run by Jason’s Computer Services located at 2127A Bowen Road (Inside Micro-Vision). Please call or text if you have a piece of technology you want to donate to my program!

Tonight we decked the hall for Amphion's annual Christmas mess dinner.

A big thank you to our volunteers who tirelessly cooked and cleaned all day, our officers who dedicate countless hours to our cadets and to Real Canadian Superstore for answering our call for food donations.

Nothing says “I love you” like a band-aid for a boo-boo. And nothing would make us happier this Christmas than to know that the people we care about are safe and all is well in the world.

Taking a step closer to our happiness goal, may we offer you the opportunity to share your love for others this Christmas by giving the gift of a first-aid kit or emergency kit to your family and friends.

In support of the Nanaimo Navy League and Sea Cadets, we have launched a new fundraiser in partnership with GetMyKit.ca

With this opportunity ending Dec 17th, you have only a small window to make your purchase, show how much you care, and help support 2 amazing youth programs.

Dig deep and grab one for each car, the house, the RV, and consider the pet kit.

Thanks for caring 😀

12/10/2023

Bravo zulu Darrell, you have been an amazing support and inspiration for so many over the years (and still to come).
