Jase Lavigne from our very own Summit Pacific College in Abbotsford is coming with a great team of students to speak and lead us in worship.

Throw in some great food, awesome connections, helpful workshops, hilarious games and activities and definitely some campfires and you've got yourself more than one GOOD reason to join us for this year's Fall Retreat!

Sorry for this late post but tonight (Tuesday August 27) we are having a games night at the church from 6:30-9pm. We will have board games, card games, outdoor games, and depending how many of you guys join us we can play a big group game (think 4 on a Couch or Werewolf).

This is great, welcoming opportunity to bring some friends and introduce them to your other friends and get them connected with the Generations Youth fam!!!

This is our last summer event before regular Youth starts back up in September.

Hey GY! This is our next drop in event!!! It is on Tuesday July 23 from 6:30-9pm.

We are doing a tie dye and hangout night. It's going to be super lowkey with tie dying at the beginning, some popsicles, a short message from Erika, and hangout/games at the end!

Don't forget to bring something to tie dye if you want to because we don't have extras. If you want to come to just hangout that's cool too!

This coming Tuesday (July 9) from 6:30pm - 9pm we are going to be playing some water games like water balloon toss and sponge relay, eating freezies, and a having an all out water war at the end of the night!!

Wear some clothes and shoes to get wet in! You can bring a water gun if you have one!!

PSALMS IN SUMMER FIRST CHALLENGE!!!

During the summer, we want you to read Psalms with us! Every time you read a Psalm you can fill out the google form at generations.ca/youth to be entered in a draw for a chance to win a gift card!

Every two weeks we'll post challenge. If you win the challenge your name will be put in the draw again! As well as posting the challenge we will post the winner(s) of the last challenge and the gift card from that two week's draw.

On the last week every name from the start to end will be added to a draw to win the GRAND PRIZE!!!!!!!

This week's challenge is for you to DM us a photo of your bible reading space. Coolest space will win the challenge!

Consumed Conference 2024!

God was good, seflessness was the focus and each and every one of these students/leaders is walking away encouraged, challenged and more equipped to follow Jesus (together) after such a fantastic weekend away!

The idea of "family" and attitudes of thankfulness surrounded so much of our prayers and conversations and - while all of us are crazy, hilarious and special in our own way - we are a family connected to our larger family in Nanaimo, BC! Thank you for all the leaders, parents, sponsors and prayer warriors who helped make this weekend all that it was!

Also, a special thanks to and for being incredible hosts and putting on a life-changing weekend for so many students here on Van Isle!

COLLIDE 2024

Our annual Mid-Island Collide Night was a HUGE success and we could not be more grateful for and their band for leading worship and Joshua Clark for sharing his story and the word!

He brought the word on adoption, belonging and finding our identity in Christ.

City-Wide Collide Night // (THIS) Tuesday, March 26th

- This is $5/student (at the door) and is going to be from 6:30-8:30PM at Generations. Drop off and pick up will be at our regular (rear entrance) location!

- After a great service with prizes, games, giveaways, The Meeting Place's youth band and guest speaker, Joshua Clark, we'll have some pizza and free time before we wrap up the night! Hope to see you there!
