On May 30th, Amphion celebrates the aging-out of our beloved CPO2 Rounding.
In September 2017, RCSCC Amphion gained a solid addition to the core. It may have taken a few years of refinery, but Chief Rounding turned into the ideal image of a Sea Cadet. Throughout his cadet career, he's been awarded his NL Medal of Excellence, 5 year service medal, both RSCU CO's and RCSCC Campbelltown coins, and the most improved band cadet of 2018. Chief also put so much effort into his PHASE training lessons, his spot in the Guard and on the Drill team, and his exemplary uniform and drill.
Chief Rounding has been a fundamental part of the core this year, with his position as training chief. He's made sure that Amphion flows with all the work he's put into the core's organization. His effort here will always be remembered. He was a staple member of the rebuilding of RCSCC Amphion post-COVID, and plans on returning as a CI in later months.
Finally, our adult staff and officers, who Amphion wouldn't be Amphion without. Our biggest thanks and appreciation go out to these people.
With the MC-ing of our very own amazing CPO1 Del Mundo, here are the group presentations and tribute to Chief Petty Officer 2nd class An Le.
2-3. Recipients of the Attendance Award.
4-5. Kootenay division, recipients of both Jock of the Walk and C**k of the Walk awards.
6-7. CPO2 Le giving her age-out speech. Chief Le has been such an incredible asset to the core since the day she joined. She's brought so much joy to the Cadets and has been a nothing-short-of amazing instructor. BZ Chief Le!
This June 11th, we celebrated our annual awards ceremony. The images provided are the individual awards presented to our much deserving recipients.
1. AC Arevalo-Pascua won Best First Year Cadet.
2. PO1 Lambert and PO2 Mikus won Best Bandsmen.

⛵️Commander McHale, RCSU (PAC) Commanding Officer came for a visit last week. It's always a wonderful opportunity for the cadets to meet and connect with some of higher level staff.
⛵️Commander McHale took the opportunity to recognize and honor one of Amphions very own, CPO2 Rounding for all the amazing work he has accomplished within the cadet program and for being an excellent role model to future cadets. Pictured is the commander awarding CPO2 Rounding a CO'S coin, this coin is hard to achieve and only given out when truly deserve. We are so proud of CPO2 Rounding, Bravo Zulu!
⛵️As Commander McHale was a former Amphion cadet, also pictured is our CO Lt(N) Grant gifting her an Amphion CO's. It's always amazing to see past cadets in all their amazing life accomplishments.
