FLIGHT AND DUTY TIME REGS UPDATED N CANADA
The time has finally come after more than a decade of hard work: Canada’s updated flight-time/duty-time (FTDT) regulations went into effect December 12, 2020.

The early stages of implementation will be a complicated process, creating additional challenges to bidding and scheduling. ALPA has produced very useful reference guide that outlines the changes.

ALPA Represents 60-Plus PAL Aerospace Pilots

OTTAWA, ONT.—The Canada Industrial Relations Board (CIRB) certified the Air Line Pilots Association, Int’l (ALPA) yesterday as the collective bargaining representative of PAL Aerospace pilots. A member of the Exchange Income Corporation (EIC) family of companies, PAL Aerospace operates intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR); air ambulance; and search and rescue operations in Canada, the Americas, and the Caribbean.
