Spent a little time all by myself (no kids!!) at the pond today and swam a few laps... I felt so energized!!
It reminded me how quickly we can forget about ourself and get in the habit of a routine, especially for moms taking care of young kids at home.
Today I made the promise to myself to try and have at least a full 30 minutes to myself everyday. I deserve it and my kids will benefit from it too as I got back super motivated for a bunch of activities!!
Mama, you need to take care of yourself!

I love carrying my baby around!
The '4th trimester' of a pregnancy is an important transition where baby meets the world but baby is also still very used to be in the womb and very close to mama. Keeping baby close as much as possible during that time has many benefits for both the mom and her newborn, physically, emotionally and anatomically.
And, let's not forget, a good baby carrier is key to have our hands free for a moment!
