uOttawa's Right To Play club is currently recruiting a First Year Representative! RTP is a sport for development philanthropy that focuses on using the power of sports and play to help disadvantaged children overcome the effects of poverty and disease. We are looking for fun-loving and dedicated who have a passion for Right To Play's cause.

In your capacity as First Year Representative, you will be responsible for promoting the organization to your peers, helping organize our major events, and participating in our Play Day programs.

You will join our executive team for the remainder of the semester, with the possibility of being brought back on in an advanced exec role for the coming 2019/2020 school year.

If you're interested in this position, please fill out the google docs below by WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 23RD.

Successful candidates will be contacted for an interview to be held on FRIDAY, JANUARY 25TH.

J'espère qu'un jour tous les enfants du monde auront la même chance!"

our awesome VP Social Natalie says about RTP : "Right to Play means that any child regardless of race, gender, culture, or age is able to play. Playing sports has taught me life lessons that i will carry on for the rest of my life. I was fortunate enough to grow up in a country where playing with my friends at recess was an easy thing to do; i hope that one day every child around the world is able to say the same thing!"

Today, meet our Vice-President, Ahmed ! What does RTP mean to you?
"I think play is one of the best things a child can experience. Whether they’re in a hospital, school, or anywhere else, play can help. So I think what RTP does by teaching children through play is very valuable and being able to contribute to this is very fulfilling."
