Please join us at Debra Dynes Family House on Sept 16th for a workshop with Master Gardeners, , and our Garden Coordinator Danielle to learn all about saving your own seeds.
Workshop attendance is pay what you can or $10, and goes to supporting Just Foods' efforts in addressing food insecurity in Ottawa.
Seed saving as a practice can protect us against climate change and build our individual and community resiliency at the same time.
Seeds that have been collected in our local climate are adapted to our weather patterns and are more likely to be successful year to year. It's easy, it's free, and it's fun!
Our garden is thriving and really taking off this year! 🪴🏵🌸🌺
