It has been an eventful end of March for the crypto industry, but not for a good reason. On March 22nd, the SEC announced that they plan on taking enforcement action against Coinbase, one of the major crypto exchange platforms, for violating investor protection laws. Then,on the 27th, the Commodity Futures Trading Commission announced they would be suing trading platform Binance over trading regulation violations. Further, on the 28th, more information on FTX surfaced that Sam Bankman-Fried bribed Chinese officials over frozen cryptocurrency assets. This week’s edition of Finance Today will cover the details of this news and how the industry reached this point.
