Momma to be, mid may.💖 I anticipated starting to build my clientele asap this spring, but as you can see, the divine timing of life has a plan. It freaks my out how much I continously grow to look like my mom. 💜
Following a recent counseling session and directly after a phone conversation with a sister, I wondered how I was going to feel and honor mom on this mother's day. Three years ago her spirit left her physical body. The cause was most triggering for me, alcohol induced liver cirosis.

By living a healthy life I honor you. 🤍
By owning, digesting, and dispersing this hurt, I honor you.🤍
By walking out my front door and smelling lilacs, (her favorite flower), I honor you. 🤍
Then....
As I'm smelling the lilacs, a lady nearby gardening asks if she can take a picture of me. I let her. She tells me, this is her garden, and cuts a branch off, full of lilacs and gives it to me. Serendipitous??? I thank her and walk away with glassy eyes welling with tears. 💜

I continued to walk and post up on a bench on the seawall in Coal Harbour. And I sat. I just sat there. For lil over an hour. I watched the people go by, I watched the boats go by, watched the birds, the seaplanes, water and clouds go by.
Experiencing so much grief in the last 3 years, I've definitely embraced the saying, "get busy living or get busy dieing".
There are times to move, yes, and, there are times, to literally, watch life go by you, right in front of you
