Stigma-Free Society is a registered Canadian charity that provides education about stigma with an emphasis on mental health. When The Society was founded in 2010, it was known as the Bipolar Disorder Society of British Columbia. We changed our charity’s name to Stigma-Free Society in 2016 to expand our mission and include conversations around all forms of stigma. VISION:

Akshay is the CEO & Founder of Bit Happier Inc., which is a Digital Health technology Canadian company that combines Neuroscience tools, Social Networking tools and Financial tools for the purpose of making every individual a Bit Happier.
In his professional journey, he witnessed and experienced how stress, anxiety and burnout brought turmoil in today’s youth. His passion for happiness and human health inspired him to start Bit Happier, where evidence-based neuroscience tools are provided to help individuals live happier lives.
He is passionate about the impact such new technologies have upon individual happiness and well-being. Now, Akshay and the Bit Happier team are focused on bringing the Bit Happier tools and resources to help individuals and communities live happier and healthier.
