This Autumn, ETHOS Lab invites interested students, researchers, and practitioners to take part in a series of events titled ‘Feminist Technoscience in Practice’. The events focus on the practical application of digital and critical feminist methods.
The series consists of three events featuring talks by guest speakers and workshops inviting you to experiment with the methods presented during the talks. The events are rooted in technical practices but are tailored to accommodate any level of technical experience.
The first event takes place next week on October 24th at ITU with our brilliant guest speaker Sofie Burgos-Thorsen, PhD & MSc Sociology, Researcher at Techno-Anthropology Lab, Aalborg University.
Sofie will give a talk on The Urban Belonging Project followed by a workshop through which you get to experiment with data visualisation methods.
Participation is open and free for anyone interested, but registration is required.

On Ada Lovelace Day, we will be making our own code poems!
Ada published in 1843 as the first person what we would now call a computer programme. More so, she related to the computer and to codes poetically, as well as mathematically and analytically. She saw that it could be making music or graphics, given the right inputs.
This year, we will be celebrating the contribution and merely being of women, trans, and non-binaries in STEM, by integrating languages, relating to codes not in terms of their functionality as a programming language but as a poetic language.
It's on October 12, 12.00-13.00, in the Lab with celebratory vibes and cake! Join the fun!
Today is the deadline! Apply with a project idea to do in our Lab community (1-2 pages, so don't worry). Read more about the program and application process here: https://ethos.itu.dk/open-positions_jr/
