Going back into the Chair on May 3rd to give our young members to catch up to qualify for WM, it’s the 5th time in my 55 years in the Craft , still exciting

Congratulations to our Brother Ray Spencer on his receiving his 50th year celebration at Temperance Lodge Xmas dinner last night, pictured chatting to Peter Woolgar. The 50th Certifificate & Pin was presented by Alan Weaver, our Secretary. Thank you Ray for your devoted service to our Lodge

Next meeting in October we will be initiating another two Candidates, that will make 7 new members joining this happy Lodge

Cracking meeting of Temperance Lodge on Friday when we initiated our first of four new candidates, superb ceremony for Francis Castro, who works for the NHS, by W.Bro, Ian Watkins supported by others. The dinner was great fun with lots of laughter and Carols, even if out of tune 😝
We only had 20 dining but raised £250 to go to our Childrens Charity, Whoopsadaisy, which our WM W.Bro George Santos, W.Bro. June Bitong and myself presented to them at their Christmas party the next day, this figure of £250 was important as it made a total of £2000 that Temperance Lodge have raised since the start of our support for them over the last few years.

Temperance Lodge 4064 welcome new members

This is got to be the high light of my long Temperance Chapter membership being presented with my 50th certificate by the Deputy Grand Superintendent Robert E Martin tonight, long may it live in my memory

What a fantastic celebration of my Lodge, Temperance at their Centenary ( two years late due to the pandemic ) meeting at Brighton, 70 attending including 26 members of the the Provincial team headed by Provincial Dep. PGM Maurice Adams. The meeting was also to dedicate our new Banner and the Dep. PGM conducted a flawless ceremony with his Provincial Team directed by WBro. Neil Austin PGDC to perfection. Our WM George Santos and all at Temperance Lodge thank everyone who attended for making our meeting one we shall always remember

Temperance Lodge will be holding their Centenary meeting on the 14th of October during which they will have a Banner dedication and a new Bible presented to the Lodge, donated in the will of a past member.
