If you are under 18 ( like me ) and unable to vote, don’t feel disheartened! Your voice is still extremely important, and it’s just as important that you have a say in our country’s democracy. 😊
There are ways you can get involved instead : encourage adults around you to make the most of their vote if they haven’t already, learn about our society, political issues and what is going on, find out what issues matter to you ; so when you are allowed to vote – you are ready.

Today is the day – the general election is here! Everybody remember to get out there and vote, give this post a like and comment if you have voted already.....In case you’ve forgotten, here is a list of all the important voting information that you need :
You must be 18 or over to vote
You must go to your local polling station – which can be found through the link on our story or on your polling card
Polling stations are open from 7am – 10pm on election day
You need to bring your photo ID, this cannot be a picture/photocopy and must be a physical copy. Examples of photo ID include : driving license ( provisional or full ) passport, PASS card, Blue Badge, a Blue Badge, biometric residence permit (BRP), Defence Identity Card (MOD form 90), national identity card, Voter Authority Certificate, Anonymous Elector’s Document, can also use travel passes.

We are excited to have a brilliant Digital Art session from Exploring Senses joining our Bristol Estate Community Hub family afternoon on Monday 18th January, 2-4.30pm. Alongside this we will have other arts, hot chocolate and baking.
Exploring Senses are also offering these workshops on Tuesday 19th December, 2-4 at Whitehawk Library and at The Manor Gym on Friday 22nd December 12-2pm as part of the wonderful Seasonal Event they are putting on.

We are so proud to have been recognized in the Safeguarding category at the Children & Young People Now awards last night for our Youth Worker service.
In partnership with The Trust for Developing Communities and Sussex Police and Crime Commissioner, this service aims to help young people facing violence and mental health issues at the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital in .
The youth workers at the hospital work with our wonderful partners in the University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust to support children and young people coming to the A&E Department at what could be their lowest point.

We're so delighted to be taking part in Brighton's Santa Bus fundraising campaign again this year. This amazing event that raises funds for local charities it run by The Argus and Brighton and Hove buses. And this year is its 20th year.
