We were recently invited to appear on Adrian Copping's Mid Morning Show on RWS. Thanks very much to Adrian and Julie for making us feel welcome and at ease. We have been invited to do an interview on Radio West Suffolk on Wed 17th Jan. at 11.00 am. Do tune in to hear us,hopefully we will be able to spread the word about our Shed,what we have to offer and to widen the appeal for permanent premises. Looking forward to it.
Had a great day at St Mary’s Church Christmas Fayre today. Met a lot of people who showed an interest in joining us. Everybody is welcome to come and see us on Saturdays 10.00-2.00 at our Shed,30 Eastern Way Bury St Edmunds. We also had some successful sales of items that were produced by our members.If you see any items shown on our display and you would like to purchase,please contact us and if we don’t currently have them ,we would be pleased to to make some for you.

We had a successful day at the Christmas light switch on event in Bury.Weather better than last year but would have been nice if it had stayed dry. We had a nice display of items made in the Shed and spoke to lots of people,hopefully some will come and join us.

Interesting day at the Suffolk Shedfest today,many thanks to CAS for organising it and to all the speakers.Very informative day and great to speak to to so many like minded people.Looking forward to it happening next year.
Looking forward to The Suffolk Shedfest this week. It will be great to meet other Sheds,exchange ideas and hopefully make some new acquaintances.
Our engineer group have done a fantastic job in repairing the thicknesser and making a dust extraction hood for it. This will enable us to make better use of our wood stock. Great work.
Do you find yourself at a loose end on a Saturday morning,then come and give us a look,we are based at The Centre UK, Eastern Way ,Bury St Edmunds, between 10.00 and 14.00. Come along and have a chat,see what we do and if that might be something that interests you. We are open the men and women from 18 years old.You can just have a chat or engage in workshop activities.We currently have a number of small projects on the go and are always looking for new opportunities.
Don’t worry if you have no perceived skills,everybody has hidden talents,we have a number of experienced members having a range of skills,we are always happy to teach and help others to develop.

We went to the DJ Evans on Thursday,great to meet the guys from Timco,a leading supplier of essential products to the building trade and beyond.Many thanks for the generous donation of a presentation box of premium screws. Look forward to meting you again.

We had a good day at the South Suffolk Show,met lots of people and some potential new members. Unfortunately didn't sell many of our wood products. If you see anything in the photo that you like ,please get in touch.

Today we had our first session at our ‘new home ‘ The Centre UK.with our new members,great to see so many new faces.We will be opening up every Saturday from 10.00-14.00. These are exciting times for The Shed,we finally feel that we are moving forward.

We had the pleasure of having a stall at The National Trust Ickworth Park Spring Fair today.We met some interesting people and made some good contacts.We also sold some of our wood products.
A first outing for our new gazebo,a great addition,very lucky to have no rain,it stood up well to the blustery wind.
We look foward to being at The South Suffolk Show on the 14 th May. Hope to see you there.
These are some of the things we have made in our own workshops while we await premises.Hopefully that will change soon and we prepare to use The Centre UK
We had a very good meeting with John Morley the owner of the Centre Uk and will shortly be using the facility on a Saturday. it is very exciting to finaly get a home. We look forward to a great relationship and will no doubt develop The Shed further.
Following on from our public meeting ,we will be holding a social meeting at the Rougham Bennett Arms at 7.00.. on Wednesday 15th March.We look forward to welcoming those new members and anybody who is interested in finding out more.

Visited Combat 2 Coffee today, met some good people,really look forward to working with them to help the wellbeing of those who may need another outlet and a new direction.
