We are delighted to announce that Our Bury St Edmunds BID will continue delivering benefits for our members until 31st March 2030 after a resounding yes vote.

186 votes were received and of these 146 were in favour of the BID continuing - this was the most yes votes we have ever had, which means 78.5% of all the votes cast were in support of the BID.

Our Team will now continue to work hard to provide great value for money for our BID member businesses and to work with others to ensure that our town centre continues to be as vibrant and successful as is currently the case.

Town centre restaurant wins Menu of the Year at prestigious awards A restaurant in a Suffolk town centre has won Menu of the Year at a magazine’s prestigious awards ceremony.

Independent businesses display pride in their work as we launch a new brand for the town’s unique shops and smaller companies. ‘Proud to be an Independent Business’ is at the heart of a new marketing campaign launched this week to coincide with ‘Independents Day’ (July 4).

It’s the 14th year that we have backed ‘Independents’ Day UK’, a national campaign supporting and promoting Indies across the UK all year round.
