So the first photo was about a year ago, and I felt nice in the outfit.
The 2nd phot is today, and I feel incredible in the same outfit!
The weight difference??
Less than 1kg!
The body fat% difference??
3%!
If you're training consistently but those scales don't show much change, it doesn't mean nothing is happening!
There is body composition change going on, so trust the process, and take photos and measurements instead!

It's a windy one again! What are you doing today to help you feel good??
On a sunny day its nice to get outside and enjoy the outdoors, but it's also OK if it's a day to relax after a hard week π₯°

You may have a goal or an ideal body shape you want to aim for, which is great, but that can take a while to achieve.
So, in the meantime, working on progress each workout will always get you one step closer to that goal!

Each time you do a bit more, you progress to that goal, and feel AWESOME doing it! π€©

I did it!!
I've completed the 25km Trek To Remember for The Eve Appeal!
It was really tough going a times, especially as I was still struggling with a bad cold, but I was spurred on by wonderfully inspiring women with challenging chronic diseases and cancer diagnoses.
A wonderful weekend in the company of some of the loveliest people! β€οΈ And up to now, I've raised Β£535!! π€©
The Eve Appeal is the only UK charity that specialises in the 5 gynaecological cancers..

No-one should have to live in constant pain, and whilst I can't actually perform miracles, I may be able to help you move pain free, or at least relieve some or even most of that pain! π
Anyone who knows me knows I'm not a runner!
I've always envied the running lifestyle, and on the odd occasion I have tried I've enjoyed it, and even done a few 5k and one 10k Race for Life πββοΈ
But with my fear of exacerbating damaged knees and after hurting my hip once, I've steered cleared and focused on strength πͺπΌand spin π΄ββοΈ classes.
Well I've been inspired by some of my clients...
as current runners, and who wants to start running, so today I started Couch to 5k with as my voice coach, and I got through it! π
Now to keep it up! π
A couple of weeks ago a lovely lady came to see me, who was struggling quite severely with hip pain. So much so that she was struggling to sit for long periods, and could only sleep on her back as lying on either side was way too painful.

I did a Movement Screening with her and discovered some tightness in her hamstrings and calf muscles, and a few imbalances.

I showed her some gentle rehab exercises, helped release her Sciatic Nerve, then sent her away with an exercise plan. (*she did not have Sciatica)

It wasn't plain sailing, as her pain shifted about a bit, but after a week or so, her pain was completely gone, and a week further on, she is still pain free!

Today I jumped on our Boditrax machine to see how I'm getting on with my attempt at getting my summer body actually ready for summer 2022! π

Now, I had sneakily popped on my standing room only scales at home just before this and felt quite miffed that my weight was still roughly where it was the last time I checked myself 4 weeks ago. π

THIS is where the Boditrax is such an awesome piece of kit!

It shows me not just my weight change, but also the other changes within my body! π

I may have gained 300g in physical mass (my contribution to gravity) but I have LOST 1.3% body fat and GAINED 1.1kg muscle! πͺπΌ

Try adding a resistance band around your arms, just above your elbows.
