Thyroid Cancer Support Group Wales is made up of a small group of volunteers - patients and friends - who try hard to make a difference to patients who have been diagnosed with thyroid cancer.
Just a reminder our meet up is this Thursday at 7pm and will be held in the Hospitality suite upstairs at the rugby club.
Please note : This evening’s meeting will now be held upstairs in the WRSSC Hospitality room.
Hello everyone, just a reminder our first cuppa and chat evening of 2024 is tomorrow, Thursday March 21st from 7pm to 8.30pm.
This is an informal get together so feel free to drop in for as long as you can spare, everyone is welcome.

Hello everyone, we will be holding another cuppa and chat evening on March 21st at 7pm at the Whitchurch Rugby club. Everyone is welcome, patients, families or friends. This is an informal get together to meet others affected by Thyroid Cancer.
All of us at TCSGW would like to wish our followers and supporters a very Happy Christmas and a healthy New Year.

Hello 👋 just a reminder that this evening is our cuppa and conversation event and the last one for 2023.
A big thank you to Kath Sweeney Pilates for raising £650 for us at the recent Pilates, coffee and cake event in Penarth. It was a lovely afternoon with a great turnout. There'll be another one next year so we'll post the date here when we know.

After a stressful 24hrs having found out my first venue for the Charity Morning have unearthed asbestos I have had to switch the date and venue!!
Extremely happy to announce we will now be in the Paget Rooms on Sunday 1st October 1-3pm!!
1pm arrive and choose your space (if you need mats let me know and I’ll place one out for you)
1:15-2:15pm Pilates 🧘♀️
2:15-3pm Tea 🫖 Coffee ☕️ & Cake 🎂 with guest speakers from The Thyroid Cancer Support Group Wales.

Apologies there has not been any activity here for a while.
Last night we held our first meeting since the loss of our beloved Secretary Cy, where we discussed what we need to do to keep supporting those who need us.
There may be some issues with us receiving calls and emails, and our website needs an update so please contact us by Facebook or Twitter whilst we work on it.
We have decided to hold an informal get together at Whitchurch Rugby Club on the evening of 15th September. This will be a great opportunity for new patients to meet the group and other patients over a cuppa.

It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of Cy Davies, our group secretary and one of our founder members on 16th April. Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this time.
Cy supported many Thyroid Cancer patients through diagnosis and treatment and for that we are truly grateful. He will be greatly missed by us all.
