Big thank you to Mr Paul Gwilym of Boomerang Cardiff for yet another roll cage for our warehouse. This lovely man goes miles out of his way to help as many people as he can and deserves a medal or two 🥇 🎖️ 🏅
Huge thank you to everyone who kindly donated at Tesco Western Avenue, if the pets it will feed could thank you they would. 😍 Well the dogs would, but the furry overlords 🐈 probably not so much. 😉
6:30am meeting, the things I do for the Pfbs. 😬
Hi all do we have any photographers that would be willing to donate an hour or so to take photos of our birthday party on the 24th of August any time between 10 - 3 pretty please? (Any photos used in publicity will be credited.)
DeliverRuby's today to our outlets Castleland Community Centre, Llanrumney Hall Pantry and ACE - Action in Caerau and Ely taking us to 34,416 pet meals.
Yesterday was so lovely, we had lots of dogs in (We got fusses from all of them🥰) We had the lovely ladies from Hope Rescue community team in. They were helping dog owners with some really good advice. Lots of donations came in and one of our very talented supporters made us an amazing one of a kind bag from upcycled materials from our shop and a gorgeous flower arrangement. 😍 Plus we raised some much needed funds. Thank you everyone for making it such a nice day.
And we're all set up and ready for our HALF PRICE sale starting at 10am however all these items are free so even more reason to pop in today!
Anna from Hope Rescue is at our pop up shop today from 10am to 12pm to answer all your dog related questions. She also has a chip scanner to check your micro chop details...this is a free service so please come along with your dog or just to ask questions😊
Wow a photo on my timeline from 2 years ago. This is one side of my living room, there is more on the other side, and the kitchen and the hallway. For context I was using a shipping container to store the food and during the heat wave it hit 40 degrees inside it, so the food had to be moved somewhere cooler. I did this for 2 years in a row and decided we needed somewhere more permanent , but being a tiny charity we couldn't raise enough funds to purchase a place. So that is how we came to rent the warehouse. Fast forward a year and a half and we have doubled the amount of outlets we supply (with more on the way) and we set up a community pop up shop. Now I am wondering where will we be in another 1 year or 2? Please come and support us today our community pop up shop will be open from 10am, it is open to all and is a fab way to help us continue helping pets, plus everything is half price today and you already know we are as cheap as chips (Well as cheap as chips used to be)
We are really pleased to announce that the The Nearly Wild Show are going to be at our 6th birthday party from 1 - 3 they were such a massive hit last year. In order to include the show we are going to be open from 10am (For those who might not be so fond of the critters).
We had 2 lovely corporate volunteers in today from Johnsons Service Group, they helped us sort our newest donations and bagged up enough dog food to keep us going for at least the next 3 weeks! Thank you guys and thank you Johnsons Service Group for allowing your staff to go into the community and do so much good.
Don't forget this event tomorrow if you've ever thought about volunteering with us but aren't sure what's involved? Why not drop by anytime between 11 and 2? We'll put the kettle on! (cold drinks available) There's no pressure to commit to anything—just come for a chat, and we'll show you the various ways you can help out. We are on the estate behind McDonalds. There is parking outside and we are a very friendly unclicky bunch.
Mmm food for thought, what are your thoughts on this?

Hi all we need a little help please. We've been very kindly gifted a roll cage and were wondering if anyone could fabricate a metal ring (like the one in the first picture) and attach it to the cage please?
Thank you to everyone who donates in Tesco Western Avenue 💎

Thank you to our lovely volunteers today, again the warehouse was a hub of activity and we got so much done. Please don't be put off volunteering for us because we are always asking for more volunteers, I promise we don't eat them, its just our work load is increasing the more outlets we take on and some of our volunteers like to do things like gardening and holidaying in the summer, so we ask for new volunteers to keep us going.
Aw we had the loveliest surprise this morning. Thank you so much to Barbara for doing her fundraising walking again for us. 😍
We are pleased to announce that the wonderful Hope Rescue community support will be attending our community pop up shop on the 20th of July, they will be available to answer your questions about your dogs health and behavior.

DeliverRuby's to our friends at HCT vulnerable and Homeless and Jayne'sBaby Bank We were very pleased that we were able to drop off 5 crates of food to Hct and their lovely pink pantry. We were also able to drop off 2 boxes each with a sleeping bag, hat, scarf, gloves, thermal socks and a lip salve for rough sleepers. Thanks to the lovely folks who bought Ruby's excess Srumbles food, which she had changed her mind about liking. (We never sell Pet food that has been donated). Then when we got home we found that our lovely mystery Costco shopper had struck again! 🥰
