Ahmed has been invited to join the prestigious Bezos Scholars Programme, where only five scholars are
selected annually from the entire African continent.

Our youngest children begin their journey with Pestalozzi World in Kasisi, on the outskirts of Lusaka. It is here that they embark on the path to becoming a new generation of teachers, health professionals, entrepreneurs, aid workers, and leaders—equipped with the tools they need to change the world.🌍

The Pestalozzi Zambian Village has been operating on two sites in Lusaka, Zambia, for more than a decade.

About two-thirds of the children selected for the programme come from rural villages in all provinces of Zambia; and about one-third of the students are from refugee camps and neighbouring countries including Malawi, Angola, Burundi, Congo and Rwanda.

Your support ensures our children can study at an excellent partner private school, which is only a few steps away from the Village. ✨

Our Indian Village in Dehradun, is home away from home for 90 girls and 48 boys. The Villages' location allows our children to attend high-quality schools. ✨

Meet Beauty ❤️

Beauty joined our programme in 2015. Her life before Pestalozzi India had been difficult for her as her father had sadly gone blind after an accident at work and, therefore, could no longer bring in an income for her family.

Beauty's mother has never been able to work, nor has she had the necessary education, and as a result of her father's accident, they quickly fell into poverty, relying on close relatives for support when they were able to help.

Beauty struggled to come to our Pestalozzi Village because she was her father's main caregiver and she knew life would be tough for him without her. But he persuaded her to go as he knew a good education would transform her life.

Beauty, has obtained the opportunity to study for a degree in Hotel Management, she truly wants to be able to support her family, particularly to be able to care for her father, and it is amazing to see her doing this by pursuing the career that she so desired, one that fits her abilities and enthusiasm.

Your donation enables our children to build their brighter futures and positively impact those around them. ✨

Aamosh's vision is to establish a car brand committed to producing and providing more affordable vehicles to the local community.

For Aamosh, it's not just about manufacturing cars; it's about unlocking opportunities for the community. His dream illustrates the compassionate spirit of our Alumni and we can't wait to see where his hard work and ambition take him. 🌟

We are excited to announce, that in 21 days' time we are launching our biggest campaign of the year, "Unwrapping Brighter Futures" where your donation will be ✨DOUBLED!✨

Starting on the 21st of November and running for two weeks, our special Match Funding Campaign means every donation made to Pestalozzi World on our campaign page during this period will be matched, effectively doubling the impact of your contribution.

Therefore your support will go twice as far in providing quality education and opportunities for children in Zambia, India and Nepal!

We believe that children's abilities are the same everywhere, but opportunity isn't. Even the brightest children are held back by extreme rural poverty, early marriage, inadequate local schools, displacement due to conflict and the pressure to work and earn a living. 40% of the young people we work with are refugees and two-thirds are girls, reflecting the additional barriers and pressures these groups face in accessing a quality education.

We are creating a pioneering, trailblazing group of individuals equipped with the knowledge, compassion and skills to positively impact change in their communities.🤝

Your generosity can help us reach more children, giving these children the opportunity to leave behind the difficulties they face and move to one of our Pestalozzi Villages where they receive an excellent education, a nurturing environment, and practical life skills.
