At the age of 17 Vincent was given a copy of 'Rich Dad Poor Dad’ and his life was to change forever.

After relocating to the UK from South Africa, and training and working as a chef for six and a half years, he began looking for other opportunities in life and enrolled on a 1-year Property Training Course.

12 months later, he bought his first house.

Two years on, he left his job as a chef and went full-time into property.

Vincent worked as a Trainer, Presenter and Coach for 5 years before deciding to take a break and focus on spending time with his family.

Along with his wife, he has been for 11 years, a full-time Property Investor and business owner, continuing to build their portfolio a few houses at a time. His focus is doing high quality BMV deals

He is passionate about inspiring people to take control of their lives emotionally, financially and physically.

The BBC will claim their piece was a fair and balanced view, over three-quarters of the copy described dire situations of a number of tenants who to be are living in horrendous conditions, one tenant appears to be at risk of falling through his floor, however, they are extreme cases.

A large portion explained the local council procedures in place to rectify poor living conditions.

There was also a comment from Shelter and a Labour MP.

The article finished by suggesting despite councils' best efforts to root out rogue landlords their funding was not adequate.

This was not sufficient balance.

Tenants should be better supported, reforms are needed asap. 11 million people live in the PRS, but they are not ALL at risk

At the APPI we intend to highlight the good work that landlords do and strive to highlight the quality of housing provided by conscientious landlords.

We also will continue to build our relationships and connections with policymakers.
