Men you can have a stronger, leaner physique in 8 weeks...

This was a photoshoot I did a few years back.

It was 8 weeks from start to finish.

It was challenging but it felt awesome getting to the shoot and seeing the pictures.

Pictures I now have for life that show me what I'm capable of with a little bit of hard work.

What could you acheive in 8 weeks?

I'm not talking about a photoshoot.

But how could your energy, your confidence and your body shape change in 8 weeks?

I bet that would have a knock on effect to how you spend time with family, kids, grandkids and loved ones.

The secret to fat loss for men over 35...

You're making it too complicated.

Now, before I get stuck into this post I just want to say that I fully respect bodybuilders and guys who get on stage.

They work extremely hard to get there.

But...

And this is a BIG but...

If you're a man between 35 and 45 who has noticed your shape has ran away from you in the last few years...

Who has low energy levels...

And who is not operating at a level you used to...

Then you don't need all this complicated s**t.

You don't need:

A problem I want to help you solve...

Guidance not reliance

This result was down to one thing.

Taking action.

When Jordan first came on board I remember he was solely focused on cardio and had done very little weight training before.

That wasn't a problem because he wanted to learn.

Meet Tony ๐Ÿ’ช

Tony is a dad of 2 boys.

He is also someone I call a brother.

He reached out for support because he wasn't living congruently with his higher purpose.

He was overweight, sluggish and low on energy.

That wasn't the dad he wanted to be for his family.

When he reached out his commitment level was locked in.

All we had to do was give him the environment he needed to succeed.

We started in gym coaching sessions and created a plan that would take him closer to his end goal of being leaner (phase 1).

We set foundations around daily movement and nutrition to fuel his training and his energy levels.

In a short space of time he acheived this result.

He is no longer living an incongruent life.

Mobility becomes even more important as we age, we know your body naturally breaks down your muscle tissue as part of the ageing process.

Using your muscles means more muscle tissue which equals improved mobility as we age.

3๏ธโƒฃ Less Body Fat

Muscle makes your body more anabolic. That means that you find it easier to stay leaner for longer.

Mot to mention looking awesome on the beach, even after 40!

But before you do I want you to think about your current habits.

It's likely that those habits have lead you to feel the current way you do.

Would that be fair to say?

So it would then be fair to say that you need to work to change those habits moving forward right?

In January you're going to be bombarded with diets, magic plans, supplements and "better ways" to do things.

But in all honesty you know you need to change your habits first.

Without that change you'll always struggle to make long term progress.

That's my honest opinion.

Life enhancing for over 40's

Did you know that the body starts breaking down your muscle tissue more significantly after 40?

This a natural process as part of getting older so it's nothing to be overly concerned about.

However, when it comes to thinking about our mobility and strength as we get older, muscle tissue becomes an important asset.

Personally I want to remain as mobile as possible as I get older and is why I like lifting weights.

Getting strong and maintaining as much muscle tissue as possible is an important asset for me.

It's also an important asset for many of the guys who join the team who are either in or approaching their 40's.

It becomes less about being shredded and more about being active and stronger for longer.

The thing is, if you're not using your muscles right now to get stronger you could be putting your mobility at risk longer term.

Maybe you don't know where to start and that's okay.

I'm here to help if you need the support.

Getting older is something I think about since turning 40 this year.

Even though I'm ageing like a fine wine ๐Ÿ˜‰ I want to ensure I'm as fit and as strong as possible for as long as possible.

And that is why I lift weights regularly.

You don't need complicated!

There are a lot of guys out there that are stuck in this way of thinking.

You're either unhappy with your health, the shape of your body and they way you are currently operating - YET do nothing about it.

OR

You think you need to be super strict, have a complicated "bro-split" plan and be perfect - following this plan for a few weeks before realising its too advanced to keep up with.

These two camps mean that you are CONSTANTLY STRUGGLING to make long term progress.
โŒ๏ธ you don't need complicated bodybuilding splits

โŒ๏ธ You don't need advanced training protocols

โŒ๏ธ you don't need a perfect workout plan

What you do need is:

โœ…๏ธ a personal reason for why you do want to change

โœ…๏ธ a consistent plan to get you to your dream outcome over a longer term period

โœ…๏ธ support from someone who will keep you accountable every week

That's not to say that advanced protocols don't work, because they do if you're at that stage.

A lot of you are not.

Focus on the daily things that you can control which don't have a huge impact on your life.

Like eating better quality foods, going to the gym and having someone there who can keep you accountable to your dream vision.

Do it for yourself...

Not gonna lie, I appreciate messages like this from clients.

Right before Christmas.

It's great to see they get value from being part of the programme and the gym.

It also clarifies that I'm on the right track with what I am building for men like you who want to take back control of your health.

But here's the thing.

You gotta do it for yourself.

I don't know about you as man but getting to 40 (or closer to for some of you) changes your perspective slightly.

You start thinking about your health more.

About losing your mobility and strength.

About losing your ability to be there for your family or those close to you.

That's exactly why this guy got in touch.
