A lot of uncertainty in the forecast over the coming days to how much rain we will get here. It might stay dry altogether.

Been a fresh and blustery day. Fine overnight but turning a little chilly.
Clearence has come through to sunnier and fresher conditions. Most places dry now for rest of the day.
MORNING VIEW AND FORECAST
Steady rain clearing this morning with sunny spells arriving later with a few showers in places.
Currently at 08:00 we have had 6.4MM of rainfall. The heaviest rain missed us and went into Dorset.
There could be anything from 3 to 12MM of rain overnight tonight.
Some showery rain moving into mid Devon now. The heavier rain to the south might move in later or it might miss us.
Clouding up thus afternoon ahead of a frontal system moving north tonight.
Not sure how much rain will be on this or where it will affect yet.
Will update later.
MORNING VIEW AND FORECAST
Again, the cold front in the early hours only produced 2.6MM of rainfall, but it was very windy with it.
A day of sunny spells with a few showers in places. Wind slowly reducing.
Cloud moving in again this evening ahead of the risk of some heavy rain tonight. Again, this is questionable of how much we will get here.
Great harvest of organic oats at Trinity.
COLD FRONTS WITH NOT MUCH RAIN
I've been monitoring the last 6 cold fronts that have crossed Devon this month, and all of them have been weak with not much rainfall.
This is because pressure has been higher here, and we have been on the tail end of the fronts.
We have another crossing tonight and another on Monday. There might be more rain on tonight's front as the low is further south.
Dry most of next week with temperatures into the mid 20's. This will definitely end up with a dry month with under 25MM falling. Currently on 14MM.
DELAYED CLEARENCE
Was caught out this morning as the cold front stalled and developed before clearing.
Thus has delayed the sunny spells returning. There will be sunny spells developing this afternoon.
MORNING VIEW AND FORECAST
Early showery rain soon clearing to sunny spells. Risk of an odd shower later but mostly dry.
A lot of cloud has moved in ahead of a cold front moving in later tonight. Some rain arriving from this by dawn tomorrow.
Looking unsettled for next few days, but like I said 2 weeks ago, it's looking good to end the month and start of September.
High pressure building next week with sunshine and feeling warmer.
MORNING VIEW AND FORECAST
Hazy sunshine at times today with more cirrostratus clouds. Small risk of a shower, but most places dry.
Becoming breezy again ahead of more organised rain moving in tomorrow.
Feeling chilly tonight with 8C.
A fine and fresh afternoon with sunny spells and the odd shower.
Signs signal at the moment the possibility of a hot start to September.
MORNING VIEW AND FORECAST
A band of showers crossing this morning, then becoming drier with sunny spells. Breezy and feeling fresher.
Even the sun has unexpectedly come out for a while. Just a few showers now remain from the front moving through. Some places now staying dry.
