Tailored Care and Nurture Ltd is a small local provider of Learning Disabilities, Autism and Complex Care supporting people in their small group homes with some solo occupancy homes.

Support Work – To support our service users with daily tasks such as Personal Care, Meal Support, Activities, Medication support and much more.

We are looking for the right person to complete our team. We are looking for flexibility but ideally you would be able to work on a rota - 8.00 to 20.00 with a paid sleep in !
You can cover 1,2,3 or 4 shifts a week!!!

We are recruiting for Support Practitioners to build a staff team for our ‘New’ 6 bed residential home setting and for existing services.

You will need to have a big heart and be emotionally strong and resilient in order to work effectively.

As part of your role, your duties will include:

🔜Encouraging the people we support to reach their full potential.
🔜Providing high quality person centred care, tailored to the needs of each individual.
🔜Maintaining an environment that is appropriate to the needs of those we support.
🔜A interest in learning / developing your knowledge and understanding of supporting individuals with learning disabilities and autism.
🔜Supporting with day to day living tasks such as personal care, housekeeping, emotional support, social interactions or accompanying those we support to attend their appointments.

🌟🌟A Deputy Manager and Residential Support Workers are required for our small Home, based in Newton Poppleford and Exmouth areas. Our organisation provides 24-hour care and support to young adults with challenging behaviours. There are a few positions available on a shift rota basis including days, nights and weekends. We are looking for individuals who will:-
⭐️Provide support for our young adults in all aspects of their care, meeting the CQC home standards
⭐️Meeting the physical, emotional, behavioural, cultural and educational needs of young adults.
⭐️Work within the safeguarding policy and practice
⭐️Engage with the young adults and be pro-active
⭐️Give advice and support on daily activities & instill life skills
⭐️Work alongside the young adults to help develop a true sense of identity and feel self worth.
⭐️Help the young adults gain self control by challenging unacceptable behaviour and rewarding acceptable, pro-social conduct
⭐️Ensure that each young adults care plan is followed and amended as appropriate to reflect their challenging needs

⭐️⭐️Driving license is essential and successful applicants will be required to undertake a DBS check if they are not on the update service.⭐️⭐️

⭐️⭐️Applicants who hold a NVQ 3 in Children and Young People/Residential Care or equivalent are desirable but not essential as training will be given⭐️⭐️
