The Community Garden gofundme page has received its first donation

The charity car park event today raised £88.25 for the Potter Street & Church Langley Community Garden

Thanks to the Christmas walk organised by Tetley Taylor it raised £66.98 for the Potter Street & Church Langley Community garde

This is the area of the Community Garden David cleared on Saturday

Although it's still wet at the Community Garden with the help of my two volunteers Stef and David we got more of the site cleared

Not much growing in the Community Garden at the moment other than Chard and even that is coming to an end.
I've been busy this morning tidying up but it's far too wet to dig.

Subject to weather conditions the Community Garden volunteers will meet this Saturday 9am-1pm

Due to current weather conditions work at the Community Garden will be suspended this weekend

The response for allotments has exceeded my expectation having had 27 requests for plots.
As space is limited only small plots of 50 sq mtrs can be offered.
I will work through the list in date/time order

So in fairness to all I will work through the list on the earliest applications basis first

Saturday was busy day at the Community Garden more digging as normal plus the letting of allotment plots

The Community Garden will be having another digging session 30th September 9am- 1pm all are welcome
