All Abilities Archery
AAA is an adult/junior/disabled archery club, focusing on promoting the sport of archery to people o
Our club is about encouraging people to try the archery, it is a sport for everyone including the disabled. Before you decide that you won't be able to do it we advise you give it a go as quite a few people we have taught have thought the same and then gone on to enjoy doing it on a regular basis. We shoot all year round, from March to October we shoot outside on the field behind Costello Stadium where the coffee shop is situated, we then move inside Costello Stadium during the winter months.
Now they have thawed out a bit back to picking my second crop of raspberries this year
We no longer do have a go's at costello sorry
Lessons are now on a Tuesday evening from 6pm till 8pm please contact us if interested

Hi all, the archery session at Costello for members today will unfortunately be off, as a large portion of our members are attending a competition.
Reminder for members, we have a shoot tonight at Costello Stadium from 6.00pm onwards - see you there!
Hi all, tonight's shoot has been cancelled due to too few adult members available, Thursday and Saturday's shoots should still be on as usual.
Our "Give it a go" sessions have come to a close for the time being, however for all those interested, we will be holding tutored lessons starting the 28th of April 2015 on Tuesdays between 6pm and 8pm on the field behind Costello Stadium, visit our website (linked below) for more information, or feel free to drop us a message on the page or via email: [email protected]
Open Archery Lessons 6x 2 Hour Lessons £30 (Adult) £20 (Junior)
Don't forget our indoors session
Unfortunately tonight is the last session at the waudby centre but good news is the have a go sessions at costello start on 22nd november
Did you know that if you hire the hall at isaac Newton sports hall renamed waudby centre it costs you over twice as much a week than it costs you to hire all 4 badmington courts even though the hall is only just able to fit in 4 courts so we have tried to hire 4 courts for a Thursday night but have just had a phone call telling us that they have flatly refused they say that it affects their insurance even though we need our own insurance to shoot there, we can hire ten weeks with a discount but it still costs well over the cost of the courts so looks like no more archery there trying to sort it but doesn't look good at the moment maybe it's the name change someone has to pay for the new signs
It was the race of life in Hull today and we are proud to say that one of our junior members took part. Very well done to Keavey for taking part and helping a great charity :)
Did anyone else from All Abilities Archery take part?
Want something different to do with the kids during the school holidays?
Why not come down and see us on the field directly behind Costello stadium from 7pm on a Tuesday night about having archery lessons. Everyone is welcome and all equipment is supplied. You can pay one lesson at a time in case you decide it is not for you. The lessons consist of six two hour sessions, after which you can decide whether or not to join our club. If you or someone you know is interested and want to find out more please contact Patrick Revell on:- 07792 757154
been a busy time 2 of our members shot for Yorkshire county team and came 2nd in the 3 events winning the head to head at 70 m distance by a very impressive margin
Well done to our members who attended The Chantry Sword Longbow Tournament today, especially Pat and Sharon Revell for all their achievements.

What a week! We are still sorting through photos and video of Patrick when he took part in the Queen's baton relay in Hull on Wednesday. Some editing required on some of them, we will evdeavour to have something to show you by Thursday or Friday and hopefully it will be worth the wait!
Baton-bearer: This is a real honour The first baton-bearer to hold the Queen's Commonwealth Baton in Hull has described it as a real honour. Patrick Revell has worked to introduce archery to young people in Marfleet and has been praised for how he has got some of the city's most disengaged youngsters to participate:

A Fantastic Experience, Queen's Baton Relay, Lizzie and Carl - BBC Radio Humberside It's been a pretty special morning for Patrick Revel, one of the baton bearers.
Missed Patrick on Look North? You have about 18 hours to catch it on BBC iplayer, it is about 20 minutes in and not very long but we don't mind. Here is the link:- http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b046161g/look-north-yorkshire-and-lincolnshire-10062014
Check out our coach Patrick Revell on https://m.facebook.com/BBCLookNorth tonight at 6:30pm :)
Patrick Revell will be at The Deep with the Queen's baton at 6:30am. We have not been told whether it is going to be public or private. We do know that according to Hull Daily Mail there will an event on outside from 7:45am when the baton gets handed over to another baton bearer.
Our coach Patrick Revell is being interviewed by https://m.facebook.com/BBCLookNorth tomorrow morning at about 9:15am. It's just one day and a few hours until he will be at The Deep with the Queen's baton helping it on it's way to the commonwealth games.
Some of our members may have noticed that a few of our usually devoted volunteers haven't been coming down on a regular basis recently. This is due to health problems, they are working to resolve these issues as quickly as possible and they apologise for any inconvenience they may have caused. They thank you for your understanding and patience.
Don't forget lessons start at 7pm from tonight
Why we celebrate Volunteers' Week all year round This June, Volunteers’ Week celebrates its 30th birthday. That's 30 years of encouraging voluntary groups to take time out to recognise, celebrate and thank their volunteers. And it's something that inspires us at Join In all year round.
