It's that time of the year again: The Benfield Tardini Last Man Standing competition is Back in it's 3rd season bigger and better than ever!!!!

Last year the Competition raised £530 for the team and an equal sum for the winner - this year we're aiming to break this record!!!

Last season the team used the money to register for the ESF Skegness Tournament - the boys went on to win this national tournament and were invited to an invite-only winners grand-final at St George's Park - they only went and won this as well!!! your contribution has made all of this possible!!!

The rules are simple:
1. It's a £10 buy-in, to be paid by Friday 15.09 at the latest.
2. Payment to be made via PayPal or bank transfer - details are provided below.

4. Winner takes half the pot, and the other half goes to support Newcastle Benfield Juniors Football Club Tardini u14 towards tournament costs in the 2023/24 season.
5. Each round, you must choose one team playing in the Premier League to win their game.
6. Selections must be made directly to me via WhatsApp or text message by 9pm on Friday - or if there is a Friday evening game by 9pm on Thursday!
7. If your team wins you are through to the next round. A draw or a loss and you are out! (No selection made on time and you are out as well)
8. You can't choose the same team twice; you must choose a different one every week.
9. In the event of a draw (2 people or more left and all lose together) the pot will be shared equally between them (up to 5 people, above that and we replay the round).

The first round starts on Saturday, September 16th (right after the international break)

and here's where we are at the end of our first round! Newcastle United pulled off a late equaliser and remain unbeaten this season however this was not quite enough for 3 people who selected them to win... please don't forget to private message me your predictions by Tuesday 12:00pm UK time and remember, you can't choose the same team twice!!!

Good morning everyone! while we're waiting for Spurs to go all spursy on us this afternoon thought I'd just give you all a heads up that round 5 of the premier league is a mid-week round and the first games kickoff on Tuesday evening!!! That means we will need predictions in by Tuesday 12:00 at the very latest!!! If you are already through following yesterday's matches please feel free to text me directly your prediction for this week, if you're still standing after today's games please send in your predictions as soon as possible after!!!
