U11 North East regional champions 22/23 ..............Jogo Bonito U11s

What a fantastic qualifying event for the Northern finals this was and what an advert for futsal.

Fast paced, drama, great goals, last ditch defending and a whole lot of heart.

After solid performances in the group stages the boys had a fantastic final against Newcastle Futsal in what can only be described as a end to end full blooded encounter.

Starting slowly and going 1-0 down the boys raced into a 3-1 lead with Junior Allen and Henry with 2 goals. But all credit to Newcastle futsal they dug in and scored a great goal to get back into the game. Some magnificent defending saw the game out and see the boys progress to the next stage the North of England Finals.

Massive well done to all the boys that played today.

Great day for both the u10s and u11s today.

U10 Caneta put their futsal skills to the test playing Sunderland Academy U10s at the beacon of light.

The boys acquitted themselves fantastically winning 4 drawing 1 and losing 1 in a fabulous venue.

Great work rate and some quality goals and the boys giving a really good account of themselves.
