Summer is round the corner and people have plans people have holidays once summer is gone it’s the next plan and the next plan it’s the I’m going out this weekend I’ll start Monday!
My question to you is why wait? Why not start now, the average person can lose 2lbs a week working out for 30 mins a day and being in a calorie deficit.
You don’t need to sweat your t**s off a brisk walk a short home workout can get you too this!
You start making the change the day you take the plunge to begin. You take that plunge and the progress then starts. You are closer to your goal. The one bad meal and the drinks you have aren’t going to effect that 1 weeks progress because you’ve put the work in and if anything you’ll feel better for it you’ll feel like you’ve earnt that meal and that drink.

What to eat in a calorie deficit!
I believe calorie deficit is the best way to drop them pounds!
Please give up with the fad diets yes they work short term but you can’t do them over a long period off time. Once you stop the fad diet everything you’ve lost comes back pretty quick.
Stick to calorie deficits. Now being in a calorie deficit can be difficult for most and it can shock your system but only for the first week then your body will be okay and you will start to feel normal again!
You might see a massive reduction in the calories you can have a day but it’s all about switching out the high calorie foods creating alternatives but still having delicious meals.
When I’m in a deficit I’m allowed 1500 calories a day. I lose weight quickly but I also gain just as fast.
Here are some things I will eat in a deficit or even sometimes now if I fancy a healthy tasty meal !
Cheeseburger salad I rate 10/10
Chicken tomato and cheese on butternut squash I rate 8/10 don’t think I cooked the butternut squash properly but if done properly 100 percent nice meal
Caribbean banana curry 12/10 bloody amazing and so easy to make really low cal
Burger with no bun aubergine alternative for bread 10/10
Turned my nose up initially but so filling and so tasty
How most people start out!
You wake up one day and you say I’m going to gym great. You’ve been a couple more days go by something comes up and you don’t go again. A few months down the line the cycle continues.
Other people workout eat healthy lose a crazy amount of weight in the first 2 weeks to a month don’t lose any more ask the why question and again give up!
Where to find motivation unfortunately for most it’s quite hard to find that motivation,unless you have the get up and go and determination and are willing to put in the hard work-to stick through it as much as you don’t want to do it.
Or you’ve been sat for the last couple of days|weeks wondering where to start how to start, you really want to see change but your just struggling. You need that extra push that extra support.

Would i love to be in that shape again yes!!

I go on holiday in 4 weeks and I am dying to feel comfortable with my body on holiday!
I’m not in the best shape I’ve ever been in but also not the worst!
The last 2 weeks I have been going to the gym 6x a week walking 10-20 thousand steps a day at work and being in a calorie deficit, I’ve been craving a takeaway and I’ve been craving chocolate.
So I did it, I had one
I’m also going out for a meal tomorrow!
But that takeaway and dessert and the meal tomorrow is not going to completely ruin the progress I’ve made over 2 weeks and will also not ruin the next 4 weeks.
We have the cheat meal and cheat day when really needed and we get back on it and reach them goals!
What we don’t do is have continuous cheat days we don’t have continuous cheat meals we allow one a week or one every 2 weeks and you will stay on track.
Don’t be boring you still have a life to live.
How many times a day do you say I need to go to the gym!
Or I need to start exercising!
I need to go on a diet
I’ll start Monday!
I hear it all the time! I’m also not going to lie I’ve said it majority of times too!

I qualified as a personal trainer in January 2022 and wanted to work in a gym and start to gain a client base.
I’m not going to lie I was a little naive and didn’t realise most personal training jobs are self employed.
The thought of starting something new with the potential not to gain anything was scary!
So I stayed at my job and still work a normal day to day job but it’s not what I want.
