Today is Social Prescribing Day this will be a celebration of social prescribing, demonstrating the amazing impact it can have on people's health and wellbeing.

What is social prescribing? This short animation explains what it social prescribing is, how it works and the benefits to individuals' health and wellbeing.

These National Insurance (NI) credits were introduced from April 2011. You may be entitled to receive these NI credits if you are a grandparent, or other family member, who cares for a child under 12, usually whilst their parent (or main carer) is working. These credits are only available from April 2011 and you must make an application to receive the NI credits.

Our physiotherapist Manu will be joining the PCN from 1st February 2023. You don't need to see the GP first.

Inclusion Criteria:
⭐️All soft tissue injuries, sprains, strains or sports injuries
⭐️Arthritis - any joint
⭐️Possible problems with muscles, ligaments, tendons or bone e.g. tennis elbow, carpal tunnel, ankle sprains
⭐️Spinal pain including lower back pain, mid-back pain and neck pain
⭐️ Spinal-related pain in arms or legs, including nerve symptoms, eg. pins and needles or numbness
⭐️Changes to walking
Post-orthopaedic surgery.

Appointments are available at your practices all day each week on the following:
Borstal Village Surgery - Monday
City Way - Wednesday and Thursday
Thorndike - Tuesday and Friday
