Thank you to TT Country Events for a super Family Fun Day at The Griffin today. It was great to see everyone enjoying themselves.

Our family picnic was a wonderful way to end our very first academic year at The Griffin - and what an absolutely fantastic first year it has been! Thank you to all the families who came and also a big thank you to Waffle The Wonderdog, who came back to see us, having been such an important part of our opening ceremony back in September. We hope your children liked their 'Founding Member' medals and their birthday cake. Have a fabulous summer holiday everyone - let's hope that this glorious sunshine continues for a while.

The Beautiful newly opened The Griffin Primary School.
We cannot tell you how excited we are to be at this wonderful venue. 2024 and 2025 have been locked in.
Our first event here is going to be our Family Fun Day now in it's third year. We are no longer tied into anything, all our guests can now enjoy a relaxed day with a variety of food and drink trucks on offer around the venue.

Super to see lots of our current Reception children and families at our Year 1 information evening tonight. We hope it was helpful and that you got a chance to meet our amazing Year 1 team - Mrs Cation, Miss Crossin and Mrs Wright.

What a fantastic turnout for our parents' information evening for September 2024 Nursery and Reception classes. It was so good to meet everyone again and a big thank you to all the staff, Webb Ellis, Game On, Alex our school cook from AiP, Jake and Ali from Connect 4 Health and representatives from our PTA - the FROGS.
Really looking forward to welcoming you as members of The Griffin.

We have a Book Fair from Hunts bookshop in school all week from 3.20-4pm. We will open up for children who go to afterschool wraparound as requested. Come and grab a great book! As Dr Seuss said, "You can find magic wherever you look. Sit back and relax, all you need is a book!"

We are currently looking to recruit a midday supervisor and a caretaker. The adverts and job descriptions are on the school website. Please take a look and spread the word: www.thegriffinprimary.uk.

We will be holding a book fair the week commencing 13th November! The books will be displayed in our nursery building and will be open to members of the public as well as our school families. Please spread the word!

Barnardo's are delivering a free after school drop in club for parents and their children on a Tuesday after school every week at Boughton Leigh Children & Family Centre.

Thank you to all the prospective parents who have attended the recent tours of our wonderful school.

We had a wonderful turnout of families attend our Harvest Festival assembly on Friday. This morning the Rugby Food Bank collected all of the food that was contributed and expressed their gratitude for all the families that will be helped from the donations.

The Brownsover Family Winter Project starts again on 29th October. Please contact the BFWP Coordinator if you would like to register your attendance or volunteer.

Do you have a child due to start Reception in September 2024?
We have tours for prospective parents on 12th October in the afternoon, between 1pm and 2 30pm, 16th October at 6pm, 7th November at 6pm and 16th November in the morning between 9.30am and 11am. If you cannot make one of these times, please call Mrs Tucker in the office on 01788 249115 to arrange another tour.
