Our small, friendly school provides a nurturing environment where all children and adults are respected, and valued. Because all children learn at different rates and in different ways, we support each individual accordingly with challenging teaching and learning provision. Children are encouraged to share and utilise their ideas and opinions both in the classroom and within the wider school context. Through teaching children the learning dispositions needed to be successful, we aim to develop a learning community where children are keen to take responsibility for their own learning and progress. We are proud to part of the Reach2 Academy Trust as they are committed to supporting and challenging their schools to enable exceptional learning opportunities for every child. We strongly believe in working in collaboration with all members of our local community and value the partnership we have with parents and carers. We recognise that parents and carers play a fundamental part in supporting their child’s achievement and encourage parents to be involved in school life.
