SHU LGBTQ Society

The official LGBTQ+ society for Sheffield Hallam University students.

01/08/2024

IMPORTANT SOCIETY ANNOUNCEMENT ‼️

We want to inform you of a necessary change to our membership fees. Membership for Hallam students will now cost £1, and for associate members the fee will be £2.50. This adjustment is needed to support and fund our events throughout the year.

We are also introducing membership cards to provide easier access to events and resources.

Also, all members will be emailed a link to Lounge, which will be our primary platform for members to communicate and connect with each other. We believe this will enhance our sense of community and make it easier for everyone to stay informed and involved.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support.

We're hosting a LGBTQ+ Karaoke event, connecting students with other LGBTQ+ people across the community. Running from 7pm until 10pm over at Gut Level (121 Eyre Street, S1 4QW) on Tuesday the 21st of March.
-
Lucky for you it’s a Bring Your Own Booze event and the entrance is £2!
Instead of tickets, you MUST be a member of Gut Level to attend this event.
Gut Level is a DIY community that provides a creative space for q***r joy that relies on support from members.
Membership is £2 for the entire year. You can join the community over on their website at:
https://gutlevel.co.uk/shop/p/membership
----- ADDITIONAL SAFETY INFORMATION ---
As it's a BYOB event we'd like to encourage you not to share drinks with people you don't know, you have no idea what you could actually be drinking, and we want you to stay safe. This goes with a reminder not to leave your drinks unattended at any time.
