Feeling stressed out with all the new rules and regulations to follow? What can we do? What can't we do? Rest assured. Here at South West Reiki we keep up to date with government guidance in these difficult times. We are registered with CNHC and adhere to a strict code of conduct and follow all the guidelines for your health and safety.
Many people are finding things are getting on top of them at the moment. We're living in strange times, times we've never experienced before.
So how can Reiki help? Being a complementary health practice, Reiki can help you unwind, see things in a different light and help you cope with what's going on in your life now. Being (w)holistic, it works on mind, body and spirit, so balancing emotional, spiritual and physical issues.
A treatment lasts approximately one hour and is held here in the therapy room, away from the crowds. What better way to spend an hour - for your own good?

Exciting times ahead! Beginning to get ready to re-open as soon as the government gives the word. I'll be taking bookings for treatments and also from prospective students.
Remember, apart from Reiki, I also run mini workshops for basic meditation and also the chakras. For those of you who have reached a minimum of Reiki 2 there's also a workshop about working with the symbols.

So looking forward to welcoming you all after such a long time spent cut off from the real world!

Sadly, due to COVID-19 we're still unable to give face to face hands on treatments. I have though, been providing some distant healing sessions when asked. Those who have experienced this form of treatment have really enjoyed them and found them beneficial.

I've noticed recently that some people are offering Reiki and even teaching and attuning over the internet. It's true, as long as we have reached at least Reiki 2 we are able to send distant healing, but please take care.

Attunements MUST be face to face, one to one. Reiki is an ancient complementary therapy and teaching, together with our sacred symbols has traditionally been handed down face to face - that means student and teacher in the same room together, at the same time.
Insurance companies and reputable professional bodies will NOT accept online training and/or attunements.

I realise it might be tempting to try all kinds of therapies in these strange times we're finding ourselves in, but please, make sure any therapist you use is registered with a professional body and has been verified and is regulated.💕

I've have noticed that there are several Reiki “Teachers” who are cashing in on the virus pandemic to peddle online Reiki courses for financial gain. Reiki is not a subject that can be taught online as it is a deeply spiritual face to face course. Attunements need to be hands on, one to one with your Reiki Master. No reputable Insurance companies or Reiki Associations recognise online Reiki certificates, so please don’t be conned

Why not use this time to read and study more about Reiki. You'll then be able to come for your Reiki training feeling so much more confident when all this is over.

Now is a time for reflection and a time to learn about ourselves. Spend time thinking of others and wishing them well. Positive energy around the world....💕💕

In these troubled times, let's think of others. Not everyone is as fortunate. I can't imagine what it must be like for the owner of a small business who has to pay rental for premises, business rates, taxes, insurances, a mortgage and keep the family fed, warm and clothed.
Then there are the elderly, the sick, those undergoing chemotherapy and many more people who need our help and support.So, let's send lots of love and healing vibes to all and hope this situation doesn't last too long.
