Last months, there were 113 appointments lost due to non attendance.
We would ask that if you book an appointment and no longer need it, or can't attend, that you please let us know so that the appointment can be offered to someone else.
You can call the practice and cancel using our automated service which takes just a couple of minutes.
We still have flu appointments available!

You are eligible for the flu jab if you:
• Are over 65
• Are diabetic
• Are pregnant
• Have a heart condition
• Have COPD
• Have Kidney disease (from stage 3)
• Have Liver disease
• Have had a stroke or mini stroke
• Have a neurological condition like Parkinson’s disease, or motor neurone disease
• Have a BMI over 40
• Have epilepsy

Did you know that Rowlands, Chapel Street have recently had a new consultation room built meaning that they can accommodate more consultations?
Thy have an appointment system in place, with slots available Mon to Fri 0900-1630, and it is advised that you call to book an appointment as it may not always be possible to accommodate walk ins.

From 16th October 2023, Plas Y Bryn will be live on the NHS Wales App. Here you will be able to view a brief summary of medication and allergies, book or cancel appointments and request repeat prescriptions.
You may have registered for the app previously to enable you to access a covid pass and your login details will remain the same.

Did you know that we now have an on line service for administrative requests or non urgent medical queries?
A GP will triage any medical requests and may call you for further information, send you a link to book an appointment, or ask you to call and book a non urgent appointment with the reception team.
Any requests such as repeat prescriptions, fit notes and blood results can all be sent through this service too!

FLU CLINICS: Please note, we will be starting our flu vaccination programme at the practice on Thursday 28th September therefore, the practice and the car park will be extremely busy at times over the next few weeks.
