We do Bingo every Friday afternoon at 1:30pm.

Not quite sure how I got talked into doing this but a deal is a deal! On the 3rd of August me and my friend Katie are skydiving!!

It’s not a typical charity fundraise, this money will go to the 23 residents at Hafod House. Making their time with us more fun and special 💕

Hafod House Residential Home is set in 2 1/2 acres of beautiful countryside. It is located in the NE Wales Borderlands, only minutes away from Wrexham centre, and 20 minutes from the city of Chester.
Hafod House offers a high level of personal and tailored care for its service users. Assistance is important at Hafod House and the home is equipped with assistive technology such as bath and stair lifts. Assistance is also offered at meal times to residents who require it.

Hafod House have warm, caring staff who encourage a family environment. Relatives, friends and pets are welcome to visit as we believe this helps residents keep links with the outside community. We have daily in-house activities from Bingo to quizzes and 1:1 time to create a more person centred care plan.

Today one of our residents presented his coin collection. And this is just some of it!!!

“Gone are the days when u pay half a crown for 2 1/2 pints. Or catching a bus for 1penny from Rhostyllen to Wrexham.”

It was so impressive, his knowledge and passion but what stuck with me was all the stories that came with it…you can’t put money on that!

Between the renovations inside and dull weather outside we keep ourselves busy with something for everyone 💕

Next Saturday the 15th of June we’ll be hosting a coffee morning at 10:30am. Please join us for cakes and cookies (50p each)

We were baking and decorating sugar cookies this week….you might need to dunk them first if u don’t want to break a tooth but atleast they look pretty!!
