The latest Petals and Paws exploits involved running 5-mile laps in a continuous relay for 24 hours at the Endure24 event at Bramham Park with Tim dressed as a giant sunflower and Paddy in a dog costume! In total, the team ran 28 laps plus 2 walking laps to make a total of 150 miles - and we were all still smiling at the end!

Now the dust has had time to settle and we have all had time to recover from Friday night 🤣, Team Petal and Paws would like to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make it such a great evening. We loved watching you all have so much fun, whilst donating generously to our charities Hospice UK and . We won't know exactly how much we made for our charities for a few days, but once we do we will be sure to let you know. It was an absolute pleasure to host the event and have you as our guests. Team Petals and Paws were down Pocklington Rugby Union Football Club doing a raffle at Junior presentation morning. £300 raised and a lovely hamper for the winner!

Training for autumn marathons is ace, because you get to run in lovely weather and enjoy the countryside. Today, Team Petals did a 10 mile trail route in the Yorkshire Wolds...our first long run after Paris marathon. It was tough, but offset by the beautiful surroundings.

So as the first chapter finishes a new one begins… When we started Petals and paws in January we did not expect this level of support and kindness and would like to thank everyone who has contributed so far.
Chapter 1 has been a blast with, The Brass Monkey Half, The February Challenge, Snake lane, that cross country at Langdale, Culminating in the Schneider Electric Marathon de Paris
Chapter 2 is all about the Party🎉🌻🐾 on the 27th of May, we hope to see many of you there! And there may be some running involved… 1000 miles of Sunflowers in 2022 have 330 miles to complete by the end of June as well as a couple of half marathons and the Great Northern mud run. This all builds up to Endure24 on the 2nd of July.
