One of my greatest inspirations… my Muma Gabriella. She is full of creativity and passes that on to me. Her house and garden are bright and cheerful, and she’s always inspired to create more beautiful spaces and things. She has such a friendly nature that makes everyone feel welcome, and I love her energy which is infectious and lifts you up when you are down. She is caring and nurturing and has instilled a strong sense of right and wrong in me.
Values I hold dear, teaching me to stand up for myself and those close to me.
One of my favourite things about my mum is her love of dancing. Whenever there’s music playing, you can be sure she’ll be the first up on the dance floor, and I love to dance too. We can have a lot of fun dancing around the kitchen or living room together.
She has an independent spirit and spreads joy and laughter wherever she goes.
I’ll never forget the time she came back from India; I was a teenager by then. She came back with a suitcase full of treasures, each item holding a special memory and story. It’s just one of the many ways she enriches my life and has taught me to appreciate the little things.
Today, mum is my biggest inspiration. She is creative, friendly, full of energy, caring, and has a strong sense of right and wrong. She loves dancing and introduces me to everyone she meets. She is fiercely independent, and I couldn’t ask for a better mum.

All Yoga classes and guided expert sessions will be recorded and put in the member's area to enjoy and use again and again.

I've slipped and fallen into the water, I hear gasps and Ohhhhh’s from all around me. Hundreds of faces are watching me from the banks of the river in horror.
I've been messing about with a group of fellow travellers in the calm shallow part of the river Ganges. It's shallow and we realise the bed of the river is flat and smooth with stone. We start to see who can slide the furthest but I've gone too far.
I'm starting to be washed away. I'm scared and I'm being washed away fast. I fell into the main current of the river. My life flashes before my eyes as the river takes me away.
At this moment Panic rises but somehow I stay calm & focused. Just as I think that's it, I'm going to be washed away downstream and who knows what's going to happen?
I noticed a group of about four metal ropes attached to the riverbed just floating there at the last point before I get washed away into the rapids.
I grab onto the last one.
I'm not joking. The last one!
I pull myself in.
Life becomes very vivid and real.
🔆I can perceive everything around me.
🔆I can remember each part,
🔆I can see and hear like never before and I remember each detail.
It’s like you finally see the world and understand it and your part in it. 💚
I’m relieved yes, but I feel a bit silly. A crowd of people gather around me, They say oh my god I thought you were gone!
I love I’m in India and it’s simple here .. they say, ‘It’s fate, it’s not your time to die’
And here's the thing.
I think to myself I need to do something worthwhile with my life before I die.
I really need to follow my passions and stop messing around.
👀it was time to start following my path,
👀it was time to decide to go for it and stop letting fear and indecision get in my way.
👀It was time to do what I came here to do. You know the ‘main big thing
👀 it’s time to go do that yoga teacher training course.
The year is 2003
Only a few more months to go before I finally go face my fears, and just do it.

I love the city, I love the mix of old and new, the mix of people.
The city’s culture, the night life.
Theres city’s that I’ve spend time in, or they’ve had an impression on me
Ive moved a lot but for the last 7 years , I’ve lived in the countryside … Its quiet here yes it’s peaceful I can hear the birds and see the stars and the sky, I can Breath fresh air.. I feel at home. I love it …
Last week I did a ‘yoga teachers intensive’ in London. for the first few days travelling through London I didn’t look up.
I was blown away by all the shops and building and people and the amount of stuff you could do if you wanted to,
🤍I felt protective of my energy 🤍
but after a few days I came out of my turtle 🐢 shell and started to look upwards, the building can be beautiful but there’s not many trees there’s not much wildlife about and it’s noisy and polluted.. theres buildings everywhere .. it’s funny when I lived in Berlin I loved it so much I never wanted to leave, same with Brighton, I missed them sooooo much when I left ..
… so what is the point of my minds wondering 💭?
I couple of times I’ve had to move from places that I love to get away from abusive relationship.
I’m a survivor..
I am healed, I am strong but because of this I feel passionately that all humans deserve a life free of abuse, free of control, free of war, free of oppression.
I stand up for women’s rights.
I feel now my outer life is in union with my inner life. I feel calm , peaceful, at one in a away.
Sometimes you have to leave.
Our identity sometimes feels like a collection of memories doesn’t it ?
Yes I still feel stressed and life is a juggling act sometimes, that’s normal .. but I have the woods the hills the fields all around me .. I have an amazing relationship now.
A business colleagues I met in London said to me ‘could you imagine me living in the country side’ she couldn’t !!!! Yes I could imagine you living there one day !!!
‘You never know’
Now I’m home and I can look up into the trees and sky again.. bliss
But you can live in the city too and feel centred, peaceful, happy amazing 🤩 ..
✨I have lots of students who have been coming to my classes for years.🤔
Some even 10,9, 8,7 years. Woooow…… can you Believe it?
And then I have students that have been coming to yoga with me for 1,2,3,4 years and so on..
I was thinking 🤔 how come they come back to my classes again and again and again ?
🍀Maybe they trust that my yoga class will help them feel good,
🍀Maybe they trust that I will always bring them more than just an exercise class.
🍀Maybe because I will always be learning and bringing them new things.
🍀Or maybe it’s because they can see my passion, my love, my commitment to the yogic way?
✨I wake up everyday looking forward to seeing my students, excited about the next breathing techniques I’ll teach that week or the new way I learnt to get into a pose
Or the beautiful visitation I’ve just found , that I just know my students will love ✨..
I made a commitment to myself years ago , that everything I do in my life will have an impact on someone, will help someone, will improve someone’s life.
As much as a can in the positive ..
and that’s what I’m doing everyday.
And it makes me happy it gives me purpose, it help me feel alive inside ..
So thank you everyone for trusting me with your time.

🤍So In my Yoga classes, I sometimes talk about the fact that we are not just our physical bodies. there is so much more to us than just that.
~
🤍Our physical selves are only part of us, we are so much more, and our being is multi-dimensional.
~
🌸We have a spirit, or some might prefer to see this as a soul,
🌸we have a mental body, 🌸we have an emotional body
🌸and a vital body, (our aura)
🌸and we also have our physical body.
~
The energies of these bodies can become blocked or unbalanced.
The more we move away from our other bodies to only the physical.
The more unbalanced we become.
~
illness begins with disharmony.
If one of these energy bodies is not harmonised, disease can manifest inward as physical illness.
~
Total healing requires restoring harmony to all our bodies.
~
🌺This week in yoga we will be doing a meditation which is designed to cleanse and harmonise your various bodies with the healing energy of colour
