In coffee making, the importance of precise tamping is often overlooked. While seemingly straightforward, tamping can easily lead to under or over-extraction if done improperly. Consistency is key. Even with automated machines, the barista’s skill remains vital for a good cup of coffee.

One of the most important aspects our baristas focus on. Measuring flow rate, roast date range, pressure, water volume, dose, grind size, yield, and most importantly aroma and taste. There is a lot to juggle to achieve optimal characteristics for the coffee we serve you.
