4. It is the best you can eat in and out of Greece..... We are sure about that!
5. It's been our staff's headache.....10 years now...as they CANNOT learn how to pronounce it. So to make their life easier they renamed it to KOLO-KOLO....🤭
Not a nice food name for the Greeks but🤷‍♀️

I can talk about this simple dish for hours...

Patates are one of the Greeks' favorite food and an always-ordered item when dining at the local tavernas.

Facts:
1. We choose to serve fresh potatoes, instead of choosing the easy way of opening a bag of frozen potatoes and just throwing it in the deep frier.
2. Our potatoes are delivered fresh to the restaurant, washed, peeled, and cut by HAND, and believe me, this is a lot of work to be done..
3. Potato is a vegetable and vegetables change seasonally (like all fresh products). So sometimes the potatoes might be darker in color and sweeter than other times which can be more golden and less sweet
4. The Greek way of eating fried potatoes with meats is usually soaking the fries in the meat juice. Yummy!

What NOT to expect when ordering fried potatoes from Santorini restaurants?
DO NOT expect the crunchy golden, fast-food-style fries.
