His memory will Run forever 🏃‍♂️
Running and Marathons were a huge part of James life and he inspired so many to take it up.
This is such a special and fitting tribute for James and a wonderful annual memorial that will live on for all of his family and friends too ❤️.

Local runner will be remembered and honoured at Cork City Marathon with James O’ Connor Perpetual Cup James O'Connor was a dedicated and much loved family man living in Limerick and a chef at the family-run Tony's Bistro on Cork’s North Main Street.

It is with the deepest sorrow that we announce the passing of our Hero, James O'Connor. Our Amazing Brother, Our Legendary Chef, Super Dad, Husband, and friend to all.On his 40th birthday yesterday, Dec 5th James set a goal to reach the summit of Mount Kilimonjero along with his dear friend Alan.
Sadly, a few hundred feet from the summit, James suffered a heart attack and passed away.
