As our classes start back this week, let’s have a little recap and revision on the basic rhythms of music and then complete the little worksheet. Who says you can’t read music? Just like any language, it takes practice, Let’s open up an explore the language of music. It’s possibilities is endless 🌟🎵

Minim is worth 2 beats (tah-ah)
Crotchet is worth 1 beat (tah)
Quavers are worth 1/2 beat (ti-ti)
Semiquavers are worth 1/4 beat (tiReetiree)

The showstoppers returned this evening with current & new members. A cuppa and chat first followed by planning out the year ahead. Let the music commence 🌟🌟🌟🌟

Today we introduced a new instrument to Sonatina Music Academy. The Harp with our teacher Joy. The beautiful sound of the Harp filled the music corridor today along with pianos, singing, guitar and ukulele. Musical theatre resounded from the hall.

We have some availability in harp, piano, guitar (bass, acoustic, electric and ukulele on Mondays.

French tenor Benjamin Bernheim sang Fauré’s ‘Hymn to Apollo’ alongside gravity-defying pianist Alain Roche, whose grand piano was suspended vertically within the Stade de France. 🎹
