When I moved to America I put on over 2 stone. I was the heaviest I had ever been. When I came home, I got really into my fitness which led to me doing my personal training course, the scariest but best decision ever!
By March I was well on my way to being the fittest and strongest I had ever been; but sure we all know what happened then π The gyms closing was extremely difficult, especially in my first year of PT. I started off lockdown with the greatest of intentions but a serious lack of motivation led to me sitting on my arse, feeling sorry for myself and eating the house out.
I need the gym for my mental health just as much as my physical health. I am not going to let Lockdown defeat me this time around. If anyone needs any help getting through the next 6 weeks, please hit me up.

β‘οΈClass Time Table for the upcoming week.
β‘οΈJust a reminder folks we cannot take on any new members as we have reached or membership limit with the current restrictions. I will announce on Friday how many vacancies we have for new members.
π―Once this post goes up the bookings for the week will be available. So book into your classes they all limited to 10 spaces. Book into your time slots for the gym. You only have to book in after 16:00 that's 4 o clock.. Before that is ok.. If you haven't booked in there a good chance you wont get in, with the schools back from 4 onwards has picked up in numbers.
β‘οΈ Also with the un-going situation we have these days people need to stop being selfish, you are limited to one hours training in the evening. Don't be snapping at the staff when they tell you to leave after an hour, the same for people queued at the door.

I will never understand how gym's are within the last places to open. I personally would have said they are essential, not just for physical health but for mental health. However, I am so happy that it is sooner than we thought.
I have already had people asking for PT when we open again (Apex Strength and Conditioning). Once I know how everything is going to work for safety within the government guidelines I will be on it asap π―
In the meantime, you are welcome to join my online training. Everyone has done extremely well the last two weeks (so proud π₯°) and morals have definitely been lifted π

I've spent the last month doing nothing, finding myself staring into the fridge or 'junk press' every hour, wondering what I can eat next π If I keep up like this they'll be rolling me back into the gym in August. AUGUST!!! A piece of me died when they released that gyms won't open until August 10th π
So to get my head back in training mode I've decided to give online training a go. Motivating you, will motivate me! There will be: πΉοΈA Male & Female WhatsApp group for support, motivation, sharing recipes, workouts, tips, struggles etc. Times can be quite lonely right now and being in a group of like-minded people on a similar journey can be extremely helpful!
πΉοΈWeekly check-ins through private email to make sure you are accountable & making progress and to make tweaks and changes along the way.
πΉοΈA program based around whatever equipment you have at home, however equipment is not necessary. Plenty can be done using BodyWeight.
πΉοΈWeekly/Bi-weekly tasks for overall health and wellness and to improve mental & physical health.
πΉοΈYou will need kitchen scales as I am not giving the typical meal plans, telling you what to eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner, Monday-Friday. Instead, you will learn to make your own! Through tracking, measuring, monitoring & manipulating you'll learn all about nutrition, calories and macros, how to eat what you like and have a healthy relationship with food! 'Give a man a fish, he'll eat for a day, teach a man to fish, he'll eat everyday'....knowww what I mean?
Anyways...no more restricting yourself, preventing yourself from eating things you like, holding back cravings or starving yourself which leads to binge eating!! No more yo-yo dieting leading to constant fluctuations in weight. Consistency is Key!!! & Knowledge is Power!!

Well done to everyone who done the body pump class yesterday. That was a tough one!!
Tonight's 7pm class is upper/lower body split. We will be working similar muscles to last night except with less intensity so If you find you are suffering from DOMS today (delayed onset muscle soreness) you may benefit from tonights class also!! If you can't make it, stretch your body out && go for a walk.
